After two years of restrictions and postponed events, the year 2022 promises to be quite promising, with big events both outdoors and indoors. Every weekend in Brasov events are organized such as concerts, rallies or other sports competitions. Many small and medium events are organized but also some very large ones such as:

1. Stage I National Coastal Speed ​​Championship – April 2-3 (Râşnov)

At the first stage of the National Coastal Speed ​​Championship, many participants are announced because the holders of one-day licenses (One Event) can also participate in this stage. If you are passionate about cars and motor sports, this event should not be missed.

2. ABBA Tribute (Revival) Concert – April 9th

ABBA Tribute Band Revival was voted ABBA Tribute for the third time in a row. The band members are Jöhn aka Benny Andresson, Lisӓ aka Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Ninӓ aka Agnetha Faltskog, Kenny aka Björn Ulvaeus. The band holds concerts internationally, and is renowned for keeping ABBA principles true. The show includes choreography, spectacular and authentic costumes, has an amazing production and excellent music.

3. Brașov Marathon 4-5 June

Brașov Marathon has reached its tenth edition and is the largest marathon in Brașov for amateurs and professionals. The marathon includes cross-country races, half marathons, marathons, children’s races and races for people with disabilities. Regardless of age, the people of Brasov and those from neighboring counties are gathering in increasing numbers to participate in this marathon.

4. Orchestra’s Conductor Competition – June 18-23

Candidates of all nationalities compete in the Brasov Philharmonic to win the conducting competition. This competition, organized by the conductor Cristian Oroșanu, is a delight for lovers of classical music.

5. Rockstadt Extreme Fest 2022 – 4-7 August (Rasnov)

The eighth edition of Rockstadt Extreme Fest was rescheduled for August at Râşnov Fortress. Rock enthusiasts do not miss this event with international bands such as Lamb Of God, Behemoth, Bullet For My Valentine, Overkill and many more.
